Social
Theta Chi Fraternity is a Social organization. This means that outside of doing our school work we like to come together and have fun with like minded people. Whether it be having a bonfire with other brothers, fundraising events with sororities, or formal events where everyone dresses as fancy as they can, we are always looking to have a good time while doing it.
Brotherhood
Brotherhood is one of the most important aspects of joining a fraternity. If you’ve ever been a part of a sport
or club that spends a lot of time together, then you have a small understanding of what brotherhood can be. The men of Theta Chi use their differences to create an even stronger bond, creating lasting friendships and connections that are still thriving long after they graduate. These men you bond with and call your brothers will be at your wedding, baby shower, and will most importantly be there for you whenever you need them to be.
Academics and Scholarships
“Alma Mater first, Theta Chi for Alma Mater,” Theta Chi’s Maxim, shows our brother’s everlasting commitment to scholastic achievement. From the moment they enter the doors of the university to the day they graduate they are dedicated and excited to find their passion and learn more about it. Having older brothers in your program with this kind of commitment that want to help and see the younger ones succeed is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. Members of Theta Chi also have exclusive access to over $200,000 worth of scholarships and grants from alumni and the national chapter.
Protecting Our Brothers
Theta Chi’s sacred purpose is focused around protecting and being there for our brothers. This sacred purpose is built around 5 areas of safety, Alcohol and Drugs, Fire and Life, Hazing Prevention, Sexual Misconduct Prevention, and Suicide Prevention/Mental Health Awareness. As a chapter our Vice President of Health and safety’s only role is to educate and inform brothers based on these 5 areas of safety. He regularly sets up information sessions with local officials in hopes of educating brothers so that if one day we need to act based on our Sacred Purpose we will be prepared and know how.
